2013

The Beginning of Our Journey

In 2013, we fulfilled our dream of becoming self-employed by taking over and renovating the Tischlerhütte on Mount Aberg in Maria Alm. To this day, we welcome guests there throughout the winter season in the heart of the Hochkönig ski area.
2018

The Idea Behind MorgenZeit

For many years, we dreamed of creating a hotel unlike any other. This vision became the foundation of our concept, "Naturally. Bed & Brunch." In September, the planning phase for what would become MorgenZeit officially began.
2019

Turning an Idea into Reality

The plans were completed in March 2019, and construction of the hotel began. Within just a few months, our vision started to take shape.

Opening MorgenZeit

On 14 December 2019, we welcomed our very first guests. With its unique "Naturally. Bed & Brunch." concept, MorgenZeit became one of Austria's first Bed & Brunch hotels.
2020

An Unexpected Challenge

Only a few months after opening, the pandemic brought tourism to a standstill. Despite these challenging times, we remained committed to our vision and continued developing MorgenZeit with optimism and dedication.

Looking Ahead

As travel resumed, we were delighted to welcome guests once again. Together with our team, we continue to grow MorgenZeit with passion, new ideas and the goal of creating unforgettable holiday experiences.

The Almbeach is created, adding a spacious sandy beach to the wellness garden and offering a relaxing place to unwind.

The Schnapsidee

located at the valley station of the Sinalco and Schwarzeckalm lifts, is taken over and reopened as SCHNAPSIDEE – a welcoming meeting place for guests and locals alike.

COMING SOON

The next chapter of MorgenZeit is already taking shape. A carefully planned hotel renovation and expansion will create even more space to relax while preserving the character of the hotel.
